I hear you. My preference would be that the games air on ESPN like "the good ol' days." The Fox Sports network does such a poor job of pushing accurate programming information to DirecTV subscribers that they would be a distant second choice.

In this age of technology it still sucks to be a hockey fan in this city. Sad.

This was ridiculous. I want to read the text of the relevant FCC rule.

One problem with Versus: I have digital cable and I don't get that channel. Someone posted a link to ustream.tv in a WLWT forum and I might try to watch future games there.

On a point of perspective, since you are working with us, you are actually in employment, so I am not sure what this nice break you are talking about is? The beautiful thing about independent consulting is that you are always employed, just sometimes your employer can't afford to pay much :-)
